Coaching services can include some or all of the following -

 

  • Assistance in identifying goals and objectives;
  • Design of a personalized training program (using TrainingPeaks.com™ site access), including template and custom routines, on-the-bike, fundamental core strength and leg weight training exercises and stretching routines - Training metrics include power (preferred) and heart rate;
  • Weekly or Daily monitoring of the training program with adjustments, as needed;
  • Performance testing using CompuTrainer (with Coaching Software) or PowerTap power meter;
  • Training power analysis using Cycling Peaks WKO+ (coaches edition) software;
  • One-on-one skills and training instruction;
  • Assistance in visualization and relaxation techniques;
  • Bicycle fit assessment and adjustment;
  • Race strategy and tactics consultations;
  • Referral to bicycle racing and exercise physiology articles, texts & other publications;
  • Referrals within a network of specialized professionals (strength trainers; massage therapists; physical therapists; physicians; etc.); and
  • Various levels of telephone & email contact during normal business hours.

 

Fees:   From $160 to $300  per month (including startup costs) dependent upon the level of service.  (Full-time students may be eligible for "ability to pay" fees.)  Additional services -- performance testing, out-of-state on-site coaching, etc. -- can be negotiated.
